Before going into the explanation, let’s define the jargon used.
Literally, ministering refers to a free service for a cause, need, belief or problem out of empathy and passion. In the Bible, it’s said “while they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said”,
“Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work which I have called them.” - Acts 13:2.
So ministering in JY perspective means to show our faith in worshiping the Lord through the actions we do.
Who is a Minister ?
A minister is someone who does ministering. A Ministry is a place or platform where ministers with similar interest or passion come and work together for that cause, need, belief or problem.
Ergo, music ministry is a platform for musicians to come together to involve with the mission the Church carries.
Jesus Youth Music Ministry is a massive platform for JY musicians to come together to Think, Learn, Pray, Play, Express, Share, Care, Grow, Grow others and Live as GOD called you.
Jesus Youth Music Ministers are music ministers who have a deep pain or empathy towards other musicians and understands the possibilities of the music ministry in building God’s Kingdom. They also follow the Jesus Youth lifestyle, formation and standards.
